During the summer the heifers stand in the creek, the cows hole up in front of the fan and the cats disappear. There is fly fishing at Whitetail and Tom's Run Outfitters runs day canoe trips on local streams. Mike Sweeney will come over and help with your fly fishing technique in the farm creek if you call ahead and the heifers cooperate.

Spring through fall the flower beds are bursting with color. It's pleasant to sit in the porch rockers or swing and take in the view over the lawn and fields.

The seasons

Breezee Hill averages thirty inches of snow a year. At Whitetail Ski Resort ten miles away there is downhill skiing and snowboarding.  Summers are hot and humid. The C and O Canal is 3.5 miles away and is kept mercifully cool by the old trees lining the hiking and biking path. The house is air conditioned and there are ceiling fans in the suite
